What the lawsuits allege

After IARC classified glyphosate as a probable human carcinogen in 2015, juries returned a series of large verdicts for landscapers, groundskeepers, and home gardeners with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Bayer, which acquired Monsanto in 2018, has paid more than eleven billion dollars to resolve roughly one hundred thousand claims while continuing to contest the science.

New claims continue to be filed by people diagnosed after years of residential or occupational exposure.

Injuries named in the litigation

  • Non-Hodgkin lymphoma
  • B-cell and T-cell lymphomas
  • Chronic lymphocytic leukemia alleged in filings
